We offer excellent on-the-job training and we provide licensed clinical supervision!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who We Are</strong> || VOAMASS gives members of the community who need help the most the services, support, and tools they need to create a fresh start. <em>At VOAMASS, our dedicated integrated care teams are committed to serving the whole person.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>As a Mental Health Clinician</strong>, you will work with a dynamic clinical care team that is committed to identifying client’s individual needs, working through barriers, and developing proactive strategies. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide mental health services that follows a whole-person approach to treat anxiety, depression, self-esteem, school problems, substance use disorders, and a range of other issues.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Clinician role is a part-time remote role </strong>and you will conduct client session via telehealth.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Some of your critical responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain an active billable caseload including individual, couples, and family</li><li>Work with clients to develop individualized action plans focused on mental health, substance use and co-occurring symptoms.</li><li>Attend weekly individual clinical supervision, group clinical supervision and staff meetings.</li><li>Serve as part of the integrated services care team within VOAMASS to enhance client's experiences with a whole-person health approach.</li><li>Serve as part of the crisis team to ensure that clients are provided crisis intervention services, brief supportive psychotherapy, and timely assessments to triage and refer to providers based on acuity of need.</li></ul><p><strong>The Mental Health Clinician role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You’ll bring the following qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have a 60 credit Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with a focus in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services field. Master’s program must have included an internship.</li><li><strong>Licensed candidates (LMHC, LICSW, and LADCI) must hold an active license in MA</strong></li><li><strong>Unlicensed candidates must be eligible for licensure in MA by timeline set for each licensure track</strong></li><li>Must have at least a year of experience working with clients diagnosed with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and co-occurring disorders.</li><li>Must have experience working with various ages, diverse populations, and a wide range of diagnoses</li><li>Must have experience using safety/risk assessment skills in supporting high risk populations</li><li>Must have knowledge of trauma-informed and harm reduction philosophies</li><li>Computer skills required to learn electronic medical record system</li></ul><p><strong>If you come to us with some experience and/or a professional license you are eligible for a higher starting pay.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Since 1934, VOAMASS has provided critical services to the residents of the Commonwealth.
