    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Abacus Technology is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to provide support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Kirtland AFB.  This is a full-time position.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.</li>\n <li>Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.</li>\n <li>Present the results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to management or other end users.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions.</li>\n <li>Identify and track WS’s, including constituent systems, risks, issues, and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Implement Operations Research (OR) techniques for consistent, predictive analysis of data to identify WS risks, issues, and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Utilize and/or tailor identified risks for implementation into the WS Worthiness Assessment (WWA) process.</li>\n <li>Aggregate and document the results of RIO analysis for presentation to AFNWC/NC leadership for situational awareness and to support decision-making.</li>\n <li>Support WS lead Command, and program offices as directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>10+ years experience in operations research, systems analysis, or management sciences.  Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Math, Science, Engineering, or a related field requiring significant mathematics and/or statistics.  Capable of working with the technical or engineering teams to ensure proper support.  Able to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.  Experience collecting and analyzing data and develop decision support software, services, or products.   Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.  Must have strong communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled</strong></p>",
