Role Highlights:  Take charge of the day-to-day operations of our eligibility team, ensuring patients are registered for grants and funding to make healthcare affordable and accessible. Key Responsibilities Conduct eligibility screenings for clients, following program-specific guidelines and procedures. Verify that clients do not have other payer sources such as Medicaid, Medicare, ADAP, or third-party insurance. Accurately register clients into the CPCDMS system and ensure eligibility files are up to date. Perform precise data entry for eligible clients into electronic systems. Manage renewal eligibility processes as required by each program. Schedule and confirm eligibility appointments with clients and assist in setting up initial service appointments post-eligibility. Provide clear instructions and documentation requirements for client eligibility processes. Oversee and coordinate multiple clinic schedules daily. Participate in the Performance Improvement Program to enhance departmental effectiveness. Organize and manage external audits while contributing to internal quarterly and annual audits. Conduct yearly performance evaluations for team members to support their growth and development. Lead bi-weekly staff meetings and ensure regular quality reviews are conducted. Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Eligibility Department. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization’s mission. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED is required. Previous managerial experience overseeing a minimum of 10 full-time employees. Bilingual skills are preferred. Frequently required to sit; occasionally stand and walk. Frequently required to talk and communicate expressively and receptively. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and engage in occasional bending, twisting, climbing, and reaching. Moderate concentration/intensity level with prolonged mental effort and limited break opportunities. Decision-making requires moderate complexity.
