    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>NPD Design Engineer</strong></p><p>Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite)</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>The NPD Design Engineer will serve as a responsible engineer across multiple new product development programs, owning technical execution from concept through qualification and production support.</p><p>- Own and manage multiple concurrent engineering programs within a fast-paced NPD environment<br>- Develop and execute engineering plans aligned to customer requirements and program timelines<br>- Support customer meetings and interpret customer specifications and develop compliance matrices<br>- Perform design analysis including structural, reliability, and statistical evaluation as well as present technical information including PDR’s and CDR’s<br>- Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and technical data packages<br>- Support prototype/pathfinder development with hands-on troubleshooting<br>- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, test, quality, and program management teams<br>- Support qualification testing, failure analysis, and production launch activities<br>- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and design for manufacturability<br>- Design with automation and scalability in mind<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>- Working knowledge of DOE, FMEA, and DFMA (required)<br>- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software (required)<br>- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation) strongly preferred<br>- Ability to interpret customer specifications and technical requirements<br>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical analysis<br>- GD&amp;T knowledge preferred<br>- Aerospace, defense, or related industry experience preferred<br>- Strong communication and collaboration skills</p><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience<br>- 2+ years of experience required; 5+ years preferred</p><p><br><strong>*This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
