With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Paint Application using HVLP and Electro-Static paint systems</li>\n <li>Equipment Set Up and Maintenance</li>\n <li>Maintaining 6S principles of Sorting, Systematic Arrangement, Shining,</li>\n</ul>\n<p>         Standardizing, Sustaining and Safety</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Surface Preparation</li>\n <li>Detailed Masking</li>\n <li>Application of base coats, top coats, and clear coats</li>\n <li>The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work with little to no</li>\n</ul>\n<p>          Supervision.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs moderately complex to complex filling operations related to the</li>\n</ul>\n<p>         cosmetic appearance of the part being worked</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Removes excess material and prepares the surface for finishing</li>\n <li>Performs difficult masking operations</li>\n <li>Documents the work performed on the work orders</li>\n <li>Seeks methods to cross train to develop technical skills and business</li>\n</ul>\n<p>          Knowledge</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Polishes and waxes finished surfaces by cutting and buffing finished surfaces</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent</li>\n <li>3-5 years Aircraft Painting Experience or similar</li>\n <li>Requires excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work from heights and wear safety gear</li>\n <li>Must be able to wear a respirator and pass routine medical testing</li>\n <li>Ability to see colors</li>\n <li>Strong buffing and polishing skills</li>\n <li>Ability to spray a variety of paints and finishes</li>\n <li>Calculates mix ratios in order to mix sealant, filler materials, and paint</li>\n <li>Must have experience cutting and buffing polyesters, urethanes, and</li>\n</ul>\n<p>          acrylic clear coats</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience applying  primer, topcoat paint, and any spray-applied coatings to detailed</li>\n</ul>\n<p>          parts, sub-assemblies and major assemblies of aircraft interiors to customer</p>\n<p>         or company specifications and industry quality standards</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiar with and have operational knowledge of department tools</li>\n <li>Reads work orders, blueprints, and specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>         Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory</li>\n</ul>\n<p>           requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment, flexible hours and different shifts if required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired</h2>\n<p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $32-$46/hr.
