Ensures all work meets quality and safety standards while maintaining accurate documentation and a clean, organized workspace.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Key Job Responsibilities</span></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs structural and cosmetic repairs of fiberglass water crafts</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs paint and gel coat repairs on fiberglass water crafts</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Possess the ability to color match gel coat</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Removes and reinstalls various components of the water craft (as part of the fiberglass repair process)</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs all work in accordance with established plans, specifications, schedules, and standards of quality and safety</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Selects the proper fiberglass product and technique to repair area; estimates quantities needed and requests materials and supplies as needed</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Molds, fabricates, modifies and/or replaces fiberglass parts</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Prepares fiberglass objects for painting and fairing</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Receives and reviews various records and reports including work orders</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Mixes Gel coat catalyst and spray or brush repaired surfaces; match colors</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Buffs and polishes repaired surfaces&nbsp;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Stocks and assists in maintaining inventory of shop supplies, materials, tools and equipment</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintains clean, orderly and safe work areas; properly maintains assigned equipment and tools</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Documents work performed daily</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor and staff, co-workers, guests, vendors, contractors, etc.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Following company, industry and best practices regarding safety standards (safe equipment usage, personal protective equipment, reporting)</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
