This role bridges the public and private sectors, ensuring efficient supply chain solutions while maximizing the benefits of the FTZ program.</p><p><br></p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p><ul><li>&nbsp;Optimize inbound and outbound logistics operations for efficiency and cost* effectiveness.</li><li>Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.</li><li>&nbsp;Develop and implement best practices for inventory management and supply chain visibility.</li><li>&nbsp;Work with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers to improve service levels.</li><li>&nbsp;Analyze logistics data to identify cost savings and operational improvements.</li><li>&nbsp;Oversee daily FTZ operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.</li><li>Manage FTZ activation, expansion, and modification processes.</li><li>&nbsp;Coordinate documentation including T&amp;E (Transportation &amp; Exportation), CBP Form 214, and EEI filings.</li><li>&nbsp;Serve as the primary liaison with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBI)).&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;Ensure proper inventory control systems are in place and compliant with FTZ requirements.</li><li>&nbsp;Train internal teams and clients on FTZ procedures and benefits.</li></ul><p>ADDITIONAL :RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>&nbsp;Build strong relationships with tenants, clients, government agencies, and community partners.</li><li>&nbsp;Occasionally represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and economic development forums.</li></ul><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>&nbsp;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>&nbsp;Excellent communication and presentation abilities.</li><li>&nbsp;Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in compliance-driven environments.</li><li>&nbsp;Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational plans</li><li>&nbsp;Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment</li></ul><p>MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</p><ul><li>&nbsp;Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).</li><li>&nbsp;Preferred experience in economic development, FTZ operations, or logistics management.&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;Preferred or some knowledge of FIZ regulations, U.S. Customs Procedures, and International trade compliance.</li><li>&nbsp;Experience with inventory control systems and logistics software.</li><li>&nbsp;Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.</li></ul><p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ability to be seated for prolonged periods of time while performing repetitive work at the computer.
