Your customer will trust you to not only work with vendors to design and develop these systems, but also monitor their evolution. Join our team and create the future of telecommunications networks for our client.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience working as a telecommunications engineer</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience in architecting and designing complex systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with network technology, components, systems, and vendors</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience developing and implementing test plans and procedures, and reviewing changes and operations of network systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with routed and switched networks, network management, and network control systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience in technical and project management, supporting Information Technology (IT) projects or programs, including risk, cost, schedule, and performance</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to develop requirements and technical solutions</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to research and resolve issues in systems implementations and configurations</p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience with global networking and regional solutioning</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with telecom service provider engagement</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience in technical engineering leadership roles, including leading technically varied teams for successful deliveries on complex engineering programs to support products, services, and operations</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with cloud engineering</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of optical transport networks</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of additional communications systems technologies, including optical, voice, automation, or orchestration tools</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work successfully as a part of a matrixed team</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education/Certification Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with network technologies, or 12+ years of experience with network technologies in lieu of a degree</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Other Duties</strong>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
