Other Skills and Abilities Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong communication (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills. Ability to handle difficult situations in an objective and consistent manner. Ability to work independently and to effectively collaborate with a team. Demonstrate basic knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency with secure email. Commitment to continued learning. Valid driver’s license. STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE The Speech-Language Pathologist must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives. PERFORMANCE REVIEW Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the three month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis.
