    "description_html": "<p><br></p><p>Popli Design Group (PDG), a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to our talented and dedicated Operations team! This individual will oversee and lead firm accounting activities while PDG continues its road to growth and continued success.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Manage General Ledger, Accounts Receivables/Payables to ensure timely and accurate processing</p><p>· Oversee the firm’s 4-person accounting team</p><p>· Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements including estimated overhead burden</p><p>· Preparation and submission of quarterly and annual Federal and State returns</p><p>· Prepare and manage depreciation schedules for office equipment, etc.</p><p>· Preparation of job-costing and distribution of information to Project Managers on a regular basis</p><p>· Monitor and assist Project Managers with cost overruns&nbsp;</p><p>· Prepare documentation for CPA’s annual filings</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><p>· Familiarity with most current accounting software</p><p>· Familiarity with FAR regulations a plus</p><p>· Ability to interact with other group functions/departments</p><p>· Familiarity with HR compliance and functions (desirable)</p><p>· A strong understanding of the Architectural and Engineering (A/E) industries and Public Sector clients (desirable)</p><p>· Must be a proactive team player, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality of information</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience, Education and Certifications:</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related curriculum coupled with relevant prior accounting experience.</p><p>· 10+ years of accounting experience preferably with medium size A/E Firm</p><p>· CPA is desirable, but not required</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About Popli Design Group (PDG)</strong></p><p>PDG is a well-established multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm that has been serving clients since 1982.
