    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant patrons. Ensures compliance with all departmental and regulatory rules, policies, and procedures, including verifying age requirements, all while providing exceptional guest service.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Delivers exceptional guest service (i.e., prompt, friendly, professional, and responsive), using proper greeting and departure phrases and service standards.</li>\n <li>Mixes ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.</li>\n <li>Operates all bar equipment including computerized cash register and credit card machine.</li>\n <li>Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests, ensuring correct glasses, measurements and garnishes are used.</li>\n <li>Takes orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cigarettes.</li>\n <li>Confirms all guests ordering alcohol are of legal drinking age using established liquor service procedures.</li>\n <li>Places orders for alcoholic beverages using the established product ordering standards.</li>\n <li>Collects cash or credit card payment from guests for all products served.</li>\n <li>Follows established cash handling procedures for revenue and tips and follows the Loyalty program guidelines. </li>\n <li>Makes change and issues receipts to guest and/or servers.</li>\n <li>Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.</li>\n <li>Maintains L.E.A.D. parameters on service of alcoholic beverages, identifying guests showing signs of intoxication as applicable.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Directs the assignments of shift Beverage Porters performing barback responsibilities if applicable.</li>\n <li>Maintains knowledge of all product offerings as well as Casino events and promotions. Communicates this knowledge in a friendly and hospitable way to guests.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with other Team Members to deliver an outstanding guest and work culture experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED Certificate.</li>\n <li>Must be 21 years of age or older to sell or serve distilled spirits. Team Members under 21 but at least 18 years of age may sell or serve beer and wine in non-gaming areas.</li>\n <li>Must register in the RBS Portal, take training from an authorized RBS Training Provider, and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam and obtain food handlers card within 30 days of employment. </li>\n <li>Previous experience in bartending, serving, or related experience. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail drink offerings, and how to prepare/serve them.</li>\n <li>Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends. </li>\n <li>Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.</li>\n <li>Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.</li>\n <li>Native American hiring preference applies.</li>\n <li><strong>Customer Focus:</strong> Knowing the (internal and external) customer business needs and acting accordingly; anticipating customer needs, and giving high priority to customer satisfaction and customer service.</li>\n <li><strong>Conceptual Thinking:</strong> Understanding a given situation or problem by combining information that is readily available; identifying patterns or connections between situations that are not obviously related; identifying key or underlying issues in complex situations.</li>\n <li><strong>Planning and Organizing:</strong> Setting priorities and defining actions, time, and resources needed to achieve predefined goals.</li>\n <li><strong>Sociability and Networking: </strong>Socializing effortlessly with other people; at ease when approaching others in social settings and professional relationships.</li>\n <li><strong>Teamwork: </strong>Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal, and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Location</h2>1450 Mission Drive\n<h2>Minimum Pay Rate</h2>$17.16 per hour (Avg. including tips $29.15)\n<h2>Maximum Pay Rate</h2>$17.16 per hour (Avg. including tips $29.15)",
