At Cohere Beauty, we&rsquo;re here for what&rsquo;s next.</strong> &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of a production line, ensuring processes and procedures are followed, facilitating the training of line workers, troubleshooting issues, and applying LEAN manufacturing principles.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>This is what you will do:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><ul><li>Provide leadership for the production line employees.&nbsp;</li><li>Direct and train production line personnel, including downtime responsibilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate production and performance expectations to the line personnel.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate changeover processes and verify components are properly staged online.&nbsp;</li><li>Report issues that might result in &ldquo;hold&rdquo; material.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify, analyze, and correct the production rate barriers.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure proper line staffing.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the line equipment, tools, and instrumentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform each position online and run each zone.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform line setup and preventative maintenance of equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Comply with quality, safety, and efficiency standards and practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a high degree of personal hygiene and housekeeping.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow and encourage others to follow the company&rsquo;s safety, quality, and GMP policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain an excellent attendance record.&nbsp;</li><li>Stop, remove, and/or report safety hazards.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure complete and accurate data and documentation of information.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in Team meetings and display a positive attitude.&nbsp;</li><li>Positively impact metrics, and costs, through uptime and efficiencies.&nbsp;</li><li>Help facilitate, sponsor, and train new and temporary team members.&nbsp;</li><li>Act politely and processional and foster a &ldquo;team mentality&rdquo;&nbsp;</li><li>Understand staff capacities, published production schedules, goals, and SOPs.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify problems and issues and initiate corrective actions.&nbsp;</li><li>Report Redline concerns to management.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with others.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform work onsite.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>This is what you will need:</strong> &nbsp;</p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent. &ndash; Post-secondary education is a plus&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of two [2] years&rsquo; experience in the manufacturing industry.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of one [1] year of leadership and training experience in manufacturing.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with LEAN manufacturing principles.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated competency running each zone.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience using an AS400 system.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in training, safety, quality, and GMPs.&nbsp;</li><li>The ability to be a self-starter and work independently.&nbsp;</li><li>Mechanical aptitude in a fast-paced production line, and manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Intermediate math skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Comfortable working under deadlines.&nbsp;</li><li>Proven strong oral and written communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to exercise judgment and set priorities.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to direct, delegate, and problem-solve while organizing and prioritizing based on deadlines.&nbsp;</li><li>RF Gun skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read, write, and speak English competently. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>We enthusiastically welcome your application, as we recognize the invaluable perspective, experience, and potential you possess.
