From grocery shopping to hiking, paddle boarding, or skiing, every session brings therapy to life in inspiring, real-world environments. </strong></p>\n<p><strong>If you’re passionate about making therapy an adventure in recovery and helping clients reclaim the moments that matter most, you’ll find your purpose here!</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Make an Impact in our Home and Community Program: </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Who we are looking for: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An experienced PT, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community </li>\n <li>You are ready to treat your client beyond a staged environment into real life experiences like cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace</li>\n <li>You thrive in an autonomous setting, and value being a part of a collaborative team of dynamic therapists</li>\n <li>Opportunities in San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Santa Maria, Templeton and surrounding areas!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>What you will receive:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible Schedule Created by You</li>\n <li>Paid per hour (not just per visit)</li>\n <li>Driving, Travel, Mileage Reimbursement </li>\n <li>Educational Programs</li>\n <li>Growth/Advancement Opportunities</li>\n <li>No Weekends or Holidays Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What you will do: </u></strong>Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans</li>\n <li>Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences</li>\n <li>Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources </li>\n <li>Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members</li>\n <li>Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What you will need:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program </li>\n <li>Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicing</li>\n <li>Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance state regulations</li>\n <li>A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury </li>\n <li>Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions </li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures</li>\n <li>Duties require fine motor skills,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods</li>\n <li>Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times</li>\n <li>A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on the specific location policy, local or state regulations to verify that he/she is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
