Description

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 for a School District located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area The selected candidate will have a direct impact on culinary operations as he or she will be responsible for culinary training and food quality across the district. Our Executive Chef will also oversee catering functions and will create culinary promotions to further increase student meal purchases. What You'll Do be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production; oversee the PrimeroEdge food management system for multiple units; menu development; ensure Sodexo and USDA Culinary standards including recipe compliance are food quality are implemented and maintained; oversee catering functions within the district have the ability and willingness to motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid staff); provide stellar customer/client service; ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems. What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training.
