Accountability also includes ensuring that jobs meet quality specifications, manufacturing standards and that safety procedures are followed while working to continuously improve quality and productivity of manufacturing operations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce parts to specification</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure maximum efficiency of set-up to include set-up time, materials, production rate and material consumption</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Machine readiness -- inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify issues, which adversely affect product requirements and communicate with appropriate department personnel for resolution</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform routine maintenance and cleaning</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Quality</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure part quality meets established standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform housekeeping duties</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow Good Manufacturing Practices</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete all shift documentation/paperwork</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shift hand-off -- go over job status and updates with incoming shift</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">React quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Notifies maintenance department of machine malfunction</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Resolve employee relationship issues, evaluate conflicts and determine disciplinary actions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position and department</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow established company and department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety and environmental guidelines</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other job duties as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Engage and retain high-performance standards and elevate level of responsibility and performance</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">HS or GED required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2-or 4-year technical related degree preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ideally 5 to 7 years&rsquo; direct experience in a passenger car tire manufacturing setting</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated problem solving ability</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience of operating conventional machines and working in a production-oriented and results driven environment is applicable</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp;
