The technician ensures high-quality finishes while keeping all systems running efficiently and safely.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nPowder Coating Operations\\n\\n\\n\\tPrepare parts for coating (cleaning, masking, sanding, blasting)\\n\\tApply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment\\n\\tLoad/unload parts onto racks or conveyor systems\\n\\tMonitor and control curing ovens (temperature, time, flow)\\n\\tInspect coated parts for quality, thickness, and defects\\n\\tRework or touch up as needed\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nWash System Operations (Pre-Treatment)\\n\\n\\n\\tOperate and monitor parts washers and pretreatment systems\\n\\tCheck chemical levels, pH, and temperature of wash tanks\\n\\tPerform routine cleaning of washer stages and nozzles\\n\\tEnsure proper drying before coating\\n\\tTroubleshoot contamination or adhesion issues\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nEquipment Maintenance\\n\\n\\n\\tPerform preventive maintenance on:\\n\\n\\t\\n\\t\\tSpray guns and powder systems\\n\\t\\tConveyor lines\\n\\t\\tOvens and curing systems\\n\\t\\tWashers and pumps\\n\\t\\n\\t\\n\\tClean and maintain filters, hoses, and spray booths\\n\\tTroubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime\\n\\tCoordinate with maintenance or supervisors for major repairs\\n\\tKeep maintenance logs and records\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nRequired Skills &amp; Qualifications\\n\\n\\n\\tHigh school diploma or equivalent\\n\\tExperience in powder coating or industrial finishing preferred\\n\\tBasic mechanical and troubleshooting skills\\n\\tUnderstanding of pumps, motors, and fluid systems (for washers)\\n\\tAbility to read gauges, meters, and equipment settings\\n\\tStrong attention to detail and quality control\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nPreferred Qualifications\\n\\n\\n\\tExperience with pretreatment systems (phosphate, zirconium, etc.)\\n\\tKnowledge of electrostatic coating systems\\n\\tOSHA safety knowledge\\n\\tForklift or lift equipment certification\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nWork Environment\\n\\n\\n\\tManufacturing/industrial setting\\n\\tExposure to chemicals, heat, and moving equipment\\n\\tRequired use of PPE (respirator, gloves, eye protection)\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nPhysical Requirements\\n\\n\\n\\tLift 25&ndash;50 lbs regularly\\n\\tStanding, bending, repetitive movement\\n\\tAbility to work in hot environments (ovens)\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nAt AIS, we have a strong set of&nbsp;values&nbsp;that guide our business and help us align with our customers.&nbsp;\\n\\nWe listen to our Customers.
