    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Structured Debt Engineering team. This role is located in New York</p><p>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</p><ul><li>Lead the design and development of full-stack applications utilizing industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance user experience and system performance&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers to foster continuous learning and improvement&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure high-quality and performant code through comprehensive testing and debugging processes</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</li><li>Typically, 5–9 years of <span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">hands-on experience in software development required with WebLogic Portal and J2EE technologies</span>&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, demonstrating expertise across front-end and back-end technologies&nbsp;</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experienced in 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, microservices architecture.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have hands-on experience with Angular, NgRx, RxJS and micro-frontend&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">3+ years of Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have hands-on experience with AI assisted application development and integration using AI tools like Windsurf IDE or similar agentic IDEs</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have hands on experience in writing RESTful webservices using Spring/JAX-RS .</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience development using agile methodology using CI/CD pipeline&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Develop and build microservices leveraging AWS Cloud Services</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have Spring Portlet development experience</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have good working knowledge of HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java Script.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have working experience with SVN/GIT or with other equivalent source control systems.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have experience with Oracle RDBMS. Exposure to PL/SQL is a big plus.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">AWS Cloud development experience and AWS Developer Certification highly desired</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience with WebCenter ADF Framework and Remote portlet configurations with WebCenter Spaces/Portal is a plus</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Must have working experience as part of a large team with ability to work independently</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience configuring Web service security policies is a plus.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience with secure coding practices.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Good to have exposure to SOA suite middleware</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Excellent communication and presentation skills</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus</span></li><li><p><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Experience with Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and products, applications supporting MBS is a huge plus.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p>BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p>This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.<br>&nbsp;</p>",
