We pride ourselves in our artists’ talent and dedication to producing world-class visual effects.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Who You Are</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">You are an experienced Compositing Supervisor ready to jump into an exciting studio environment with a wide variety of projects. You have demonstrated experience supervising teams in a VFX production pipeline but are comfortable working on the box when needed. You are able to work with a producer to bid shots and the ability to design workflows and estimate artist time and tasks from script, concept and/or video references. You have a strong creative vision and want to contribute those skills to a growing team and compa</span>ny.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Lead a team of compositors across one or more projects, providing strong creative and technical direction, and supervising shot creation and finishing.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Efficiently collaborate with the VFX Supervisor, VFX Producers, Coordinators, to implement and execute clients’ vision to the highest standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Participate in technical and creative calls with directors and clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively with internal departments to assign tasks under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Provide clear and constructive feedback when reviewing shots, maintaining quality and consistency in large sequences being worked on by multiple artists.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure quality control and compositing teams’ delivery of high quality work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Troubleshoot technical problems on assigned shots.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strive for excellence in terms of aesthetic and technical work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Take direction from Compositing Supervisors, Leads and VFX Producers to execute clients' vision to the highest standards. </span><br><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">7+ years working in a VFX studio environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Expert level knowledge in the following software: Nuke/NukeX, Mocha Pro, Photoshop. After Effects, CG and additional software packages are a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong artistic aptitude for shot composition, design, element creation, and/or look development for sequences, as well </span><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">as well as the ability to create templates for other artists to use.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Extreme creativity in finding solutions to client notes and production challenges.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong ability to stay calm and positive in high pressure environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Shotgrid management software a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated leadership skills in a VFX production environment </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">About This Role</span></span><span><em><br></em></span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">There are hybrid and remote options for this role.<span> </span></span></em><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Benefit plans are dependent on the local plan offering and employment status. </span><span>Barnstorm VFX is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive team that provides a meaningful work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
