Business Application Support.</p><p>The Configuration Analyst is responsible for two key aspects of business applications support &ndash; both the daily operational/product support needs of the existing systems along with serving as a vital resource and consultative partner with key stakeholders in the business. &nbsp;This will include becoming an expert of the online tools used to maintain and configure the information systems and software to give the business the greatest use of the system. &nbsp;This position will need to understand our insurance products and master our business workflow in order to provide users with support and provide valuable insight of our policy administration system. &nbsp;In addition, this role will develop client relationships to achieve business objectives, coordinate designs, system validation, and configuration activities across solutions and work streams.</p><p>A Configuration Analyst is expected to:</p><ul><li>Work with Boston Mutual teams and vendors to maintain the policy administration system&nbsp;</li><li>Master online system tools such as rules &amp; rates engines, user groups and documents templates</li><li>Become liaison between business teams and development teams to manage system workflows&nbsp;</li><li>Plan and execute CM throughout the project lifecycle, including configuration, migration, deployment, and security</li><li>Coordinating and directing system configurations</li><li>Maintain a current understanding current environments and knowledge of the CM tools</li><li>Create, review, and update existing configuration management plans</li><li>Analyze configuration related issues and provide viable solutions</li><li>Responsible for managing and troubleshooting the CM environment</li><li>Prepare and maintain configuration documentation and plans</li><li>Coordinate the individual and whole parts of a product&nbsp;</li><li>Propose viable solutions for issues and continuous improvement items</li><li>Perform daily operational support (Level 2-type troubleshooting)</li><li>Provide production support, investigation and troubleshooting of technical apps and systems</li><li>Remain up to date with current build technology&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><table border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>Qualification</strong></p></td></tr></tbody></table><p>&nbsp;<strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline preferred. &nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><ul><li>5 + years&rsquo; experience in implementation and support of integration of information systems in a insurance setting.</li><li>3 + years&rsquo; experience in the life insurance industry&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of various Configuration Management tools&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of life insurance products and services</li><li>Knowledge of Policy Administration Systems and workflows</li><li>Knowledge of creating and managing complex databases</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Proficiency in Repository management</li><li>Well versed in project management, agile mythology and product support</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical staff</li><li>Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in order to exceed customers&rsquo;
