    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p>Berry Law is seeking experienced contract <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Veterans Disability Attorneys</span> to support a high-impact file transition within our VA practice.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is focused on legal strategy execution and file transition support—enabling our internal legal team to operate more efficiently and continue delivering exceptional outcomes for Veterans. This is a flexible, contract-based opportunity with variable hours based on availability and firm needs.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This engagement is expected to last approximately 1–2 months, with the potential to extend based on project progress and business needs.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and analyze Veterans disability claims files within the VA system</li>\n<li>Assist in transitioning legacy client files into updated workflows and systems</li>\n<li>Develop and document legal strategies aligned with firm standards</li>\n<li>Identify evidentiary gaps and recommend next steps for claim development</li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal legal team members on strategy alignment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope of Role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">No direct client communication required</span></li>\n<li>Work is focused exclusively on legal analysis, file review, and strategy development</li>\n<li>Flexible workload—hours may vary based on project needs and attorney availability</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction</li>\n<li> Ability to independently review files and formulate sound legal strategies</li>\n<li>High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated experience handling VA disability claims and appeals</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of VA regulations, procedures, and evidentiary requirements</li>\n<li>Familiarity with case management systems and high-volume file transitions</li>\n<li>Experience working in a remote, contract-based legal environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ownership and accountability</li>\n<li>Strong legal judgment</li>\n<li>Efficiency and organization</li>\n<li>Mission-driven mindset aligned with serving Veterans</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Berry Law</span></p>\n<p>Berry Law is a nationally recognized, Veteran-led law firm dedicated to defending and protecting Veterans and their families.
