    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<p>The construction civil lead is responsible for assisting with providing direction and coordinating activities relating to civil tasks or projects at all facilities.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure employees follow safe work practices</li>\n<li>Confer with management/department heads to plan and schedule activities with</li>\n<li>Have knowledge of all phases of carpentry work, such as, layouts, forming, blueprint reading, dry wall, trim, doors, cabinets, and painting</li>\n<li>Have knowledge in the use of all power tools</li>\n<li>Assist in leading civil construction group</li>\n<li>Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies</li>\n<li>Operate heavy equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Experience: </span>A willingness to learn and grow is critical for this position.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>Outstanding safety</li>\n<li>Good verbal and communication skills</li>\n<li>Attention to detail in all areas</li>\n<li>Ability to grasp concepts easily</li>\n<li>Flexibility with working overtime and weekends as needed</li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience</li>\n<li>Operate equipment such as an excavator, dozer, dump truck, and forklift</li>\n<li>Knowledge of concrete pours, grading, and site preparation</li>\n<li>Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Behavioral Skills: </span>Behavioral skills are critical for determining success in a career.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactive, positive approach to safety of him/herself and others</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including conflict resolution</li>\n<li>Self-motivation and strong work ethic</li>\n<li>Sense of urgency to prepare and complete tasks</li>\n<li>Savvy, knowledge, and personality to coach/mentor others</li>\n<li>Assertiveness in communications to positively influence others</li>\n<li>Highest standards for personal and professional ethics</li>\n<li>“Lead by example” approach</li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task</li>\n<li>Detail orientation</li>\n<li>Prioritization skills<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About RoyOMartin<br></span>At RoyOMartin, people are our number-one asset.
