Cooper offers full and part time employees a comprehensive employee benefits program, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, on-site Early Education Center <em>(employee discount)</em>, attractive working conditions, and the chance to build and explore a career opportunity by offering professional development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional is accredited by and received the Gold Seal of approval from The Joint Commission.</p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Observes and reports to the RN for all significant changes in patient’s condition \n  <ul>\n   <li>Prepares and sets up for suturing </li>\n   <li>Applies appropriate monitoring devices such as cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter, non-invasive blood pressure, and Dinamap  </li>\n   <li>Takes and records vital signs, height and weights, measures and records fluid intake and output, collects specimens</li>\n   <li>Performs electrocardiograms</li>\n   <li>Assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g. preparing patient for and assisting with meals, bathing)</li>\n   <li>One-on-one observation with required documentation. Close observation monitoring</li>\n   <li>Demonstrates proficient computer skills</li>\n   <li>Ability to follow through with physician orders </li>\n   <li>Assist with transport of patients within the hospital </li>\n   <li>Maintains safe and orderly environment by stocking patient care areas</li>\n   <li>Responds to patient/family requests in timely manner</li>\n   <li>Assists with orthopedic procedures by applying posterior splints</li>\n   <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Follow established policies and procedures. </p>\n<p>Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. </p>\n<p>Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians. </p>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<p>Previous Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant or EMT experience preferred </p>\n<p>Candidates who are attending College for medical related careers are highly considered.</p>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<p>High School graduate or equivalent.</p>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<p>American Heart Association, (AHA) CPR Certification required </p>\n<h2>Special Requirements</h2>\n<p>Rotating shifts, days, nights, holidays and weekends.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $18.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $23.78",
