instrumental in promoting independence, community integration, and personal growth of program participants.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster a safe and supportive environment that encourages and enhances independence, community participation, and individual personal growth.</li>\n<li>Enhance community engagement and individual socialization.</li>\n<li>Identification of transportation needs and preferences.</li>\n<li>Safety education and training on pedestrian practices.</li>\n<li>Personal safety and emergency preparedness training.</li>\n<li>Role-playing scenarios for handling unfamiliar situations.</li>\n<li>Assistance in identifying and accessing healthcare, education, and employment services.</li>\n<li>Research on available resources and guidance on eligibility criteria.</li>\n<li>Support in building relationships with supportive peers, family, and community members.</li>\n<li>Facilitation of introductions and socialization skills training.</li>\n<li>Training on effective communication strategies, active listening, assertiveness, and conflict resolution.</li>\n<li>Role-playing exercises and real-life applications.</li>\n<li>Identification of individual needs and interests for leisure and social activities.</li>\n<li>Facilitation of participation in community groups or clubs.</li>\n<li>Identification of healthcare needs and support for accessing appropriate services.</li>\n<li>Coordination with healthcare providers and scheduling appointments.</li>\n<li>Cueing, guidance, supervision, training or instructional support to complete self-cares.</li>\n<li>Training and hands-on assistance as needed.</li>\n<li>Identification of strengths and building resilience.</li>\n<li>Development of individualized strategies and care plans.</li>\n<li>Regular monitoring of progress toward goals.</li>\n<li>Assistance in developing knowledge and skills for maintaining a safe household.</li>\n<li>Identification and guidance on addressing potential hazards.</li>\n<li>Daily assistance with nighttime safety measures.</li>\n<li>Introduction of checklists or other aids for increased independence.</li>\n<li>Cueing, guidance for routine household tasks such as cleaning and organizing.</li>\n<li>Support in completing routine household tasks such as cleaning and organizing.</li>\n<li>Training and instruction to build skills over time.</li>\n<li>Tenancy support and advocacy.</li>\n<li>Assistance in maintaining tenancy and navigating household complexities.</li>\n<li>Collaboration with property management to address issues.</li>\n<li>Training, assistance, and support for household skills.</li>\n<li>Budgeting, meal planning, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle skills.</li>\n<li>Assistance with personal needs purchasing.</li>\n<li>Equip individuals with skills for crisis prevention, positive support strategies, problem-solving, sensory/motor development, and self-sufficiency.</li>\n<li>Identification of triggers and strategies for prevention.</li>\n<li>Coping skills development and crisis plan creation.</li>\n<li>Development and implementation of positive support strategies.</li>\n<li>Identification of strengths, routines, and positive reinforcement.</li>\n<li>Implementation of positive support strategies.</li>\n<li>Training on problem-solving skills and effective approaches.</li>\n<li>Assistance in addressing daily challenges.</li>\n<li>Support and guidance for the development of sensory and motor skills.</li>\n<li>Adaptation of tasks based on abilities and interests.</li>\n<li>Goal setting, skill development, bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certifications)</li>\n<li>Previous experience of 2 years or more in a similar role or working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health concerns, or related populations is preferred.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care and support.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills and proficiency in documenting services accurately.</li>\n<li>Physical ability to assist individuals with mobility, lifting, and personal care needs as required.</li>\n<li>Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.<br></li>\n<li>Current auto liability insurance.</li>\n<li>Ability to drive own vehicle while working.</li>\n<li>Acceptable clearance of background check.</li>\n<li>Must be dependable, adaptable, and flexible.</li>\n<li>Must be observant and detail-oriented.</li>\n<li>Positive role model
