Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct research into logistics operations, including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits.</li>\n <li><p>Canvass databases and consolidate information from numerous sources into a single data base or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action.</p></li>\n <li><p>Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models.</p></li>\n <li><p>Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance</p></li>\n <li><p>Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes.</p></li>\n <li><p>Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.</p></li>\n <li>Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Undergraduate degree required. Degree in engineering, finance, economics, operations research, mathematics, or a related discipline preferred. </li>\n <li><p>This position requires Five (5) or more years’ work experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Army knowledge/experience required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and project management software.</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.</p></li>\n <li><p>Superior communication skills, both oral and written.</p></li>\n <li><p>Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Available for occasional travel.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong><u>This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.</u></strong></p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>DESIRED SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>5-8 years' work experience is required.</p></li>\n <li><p>DOD knowledge/experience required; USTRANSCOM experience highly preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with deployment and distribution operations is desired.</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent research, writing, briefing and staff coordination skills.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Target salary range: $85,000 - $100,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
