    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Tacten is currently recruiting IRATA Technicians Level 3</strong> to support upcoming projects in the Atlantic Region, specifically in <strong>Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic industrial environment where you will gain hands-on experience, further develop your technical skills, and contribute to a team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Project Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Project-based work commencing July 2026</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Work located in Halifax/Dartmouth, NS</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Candidates must be local to the Halifax/Dartmouth area or surrounding region.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Whether you are looking to build hours, expand your experience, or work within a high-performing team, this role offers strong exposure and growth potential within the industry.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all rope access activities are performed safely and in compliance with IRATA standards and company policies.</li>\n <li>Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair work using rope access methods.</li>\n <li>Plan and execute rigging setups, ensuring operational safety and compliance with site and IRATA requirements.</li>\n <li>Conduct pre-job hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, and rescue plans.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and safety checks.</li>\n <li>Perform rescues and emergency response procedures as required.</li>\n <li>Mentor and evaluate lower-level technicians (Level 1 and 2) in safe work practices.</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and operational efficiency.</li>\n <li>Lead daily rope access operations, ensuring all work is conducted safely and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Oversee and coordinate team assignments, ensuring work meets clients and company expectations.</li>\n <li>Liaise with site management and clients on work scopes, safety, and progress updates.</li>\n <li>Perform equipment inspections, maintain certification records, and ensure site compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid IRATA Certification Level 3</li>\n <li>Level 3 Technicians require Standard 1st Aide certificate </li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience working in industrial environments</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic with a reliable and dependable approach to work</li>\n <li>Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, supervisors, and team members</li>\n <li>Exceptional commitment to safety and quality standards</li>\n <li>Proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and manage time effectively in dynamic work environments</li>\n <li>Self-motivated, with the ability to perform at a high level with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician in industrial environments </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of rope access theory, rigging principles, maneuvers, hauling systems, and advanced rescue techniques</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to lead, instruct, and supervise Level 1 and Level 2 technicians</li>\n <li>Proven leadership and communication skills in a team environment</li>\n <li>Strong safety, quality, and client-focus mindset</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working independently in remote, high-risk, and variable conditions</li>\n <li>Problem-solving and time-management skills with attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
