    "description": "<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Apprentice Telecom Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of telecommunication systems and associated process along side a licensed Telecom Technician.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&#160;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Regular attendance at assigned location; may include A/Z office or other project site;</li>\r\n\t<li>Will work with sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows blueprints, insuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings and flooring.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with installation of cable supports, through floor and wall sleeves, fire stopping materials</li>\r\n\t<li>Participates in data cable installations, open wiring, with conduit and on cable trays;</li>\r\n\t<li>Assists with installation of relays racks, cabinets, network switches.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assists with Installation of cable trays above and below floors</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work in confined spaces.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assists with termination data, voice, coaxial, control and fiber optic cables.</li>\r\n\t<li>Test cables to TIA/EIA level II standards with cable analyzer.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other routine duties as directed by workplace leader,</li>\r\n\t<li>Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in site housekeeping;</li>\r\n\t<li>Additional duties as directed by management.</li>\r\n</ul>",
