Will collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the OR and Pre-op/PACU departments, monitor and evaluate nursing care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.</p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;border:none;border-bottom:solid windowtext 2.25pt;padding:0in 0in 0in 0in;'><h6 Functions</span></h6></div><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Assists with the implement, deliver, and evaluate patient care services and the Center&#39;s goals/objectives, striving to exceed performance measurements set annually by administration.</li><li>Supports change initiatives through effective communication, creating buy-in and understanding within the team.</li><li>Assists in coordinating the smooth functioning of the OR and Pre-op/PACU departments, ensuring maximum productivity and quality of patient care.</li><li>Works with the Leadership Team to evaluate and ensure the implementation of patient care from admission to discharge, according to facility policy and procedure.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate nursing care in relation to established standards and facilitate quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, Joint Commission standards, HIPAA regulations, state and federal regulations, and all facility policies and procedures.</li><li><span style=\"color:#111111;\">Collaborates with the Clinical Nurse Manager to prepare the department for licensure and accreditation reviews, ensuring compliance with all standards.</span></li><li>Promote multi-disciplinary collaboration to ensure a coordinated approach to healthcare.</li><li>Participates in the Quality Committee to facilitate the improvement of patient care.</li><li>Establish and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with physicians, associates, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Protect company assets and ensure the proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.</li><li>Define educational needs and actively support staff development activities.</li><li>Set goals and evaluate progress annually for all clinical teammates.</li><li>Works with Clinical Manager on quality assurance and quality improvement plans.</li><li>Assess delivery of care and patient outcomes through rounds, committees, quality assessment, performance improvement activities, and patient surveys.</li><li>Assists physician and anesthesia personnel as needed.</li><li>Completes all teammate/patient event and variance documentation in a thorough and timely manner.</li><li>Maintains attendance according to guidelines and policy established by the facility.</li><li>Provides notification for unscheduled absences or tardiness according to departmental procedures.</li><li>Maintains certification requirements and submits required certifications to facility management.</li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned medical staff and team members when both the Clinical Nurse Manager and Administrator are not available.</li><li>Complies with facility clinical data, (i.e., IP surveillance, Safe injection practice surveillance, etc.) and collaborates with the Clinical Manager to prepare the monthly reports.</li><li>Employee Health Nurse- responsible for monitoring the health status of the team members regarding initial employment and annually.</li><li>Education Nurse-oversight of continuing education for all Team members.</li></ul><div style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;border:none;border-bottom:solid windowtext 2.25pt;padding:0in 0in 1.0pt 0in;'><h6 degree in nursing required.</li><li>Ambulatory Surgery Center, Emergency Department, Med-Surg Unit, or hospice experience preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>OR Circulator experience of three (3) plus years is desirable.</li><li>Pre &amp; Post Operative of three (3) plus years is desirable.</li></ul><div style='margin:0in;font-size:13px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;border:none;border-bottom:solid
