This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence, team development, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing car wash performance, coaching team members, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality of the wash and related equipment.</p><p><br></p><p>You will be trained in all aspects of car wash operations, including system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer service excellence. Living our brand is a critical component for all our roles.</p><p><br></p><p>Below is a general outline of some of the roles and responsibilities expected of our Express Car Wash Team Leaders (this list is not all inclusive):</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Lead, train, and coach Express Car Wash Team Members to ensure exceptional customer service and consistent performance.</p><p>· Oversee daily operations of the car wash, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management.</p><p>· Motivate and guide the team to achieve sales goals through upselling and customer engagement.</p><p>· Monitor and maintain wash tunnel equipment and systems, performing basic troubleshooting and coordinating with maintenance for complex repairs.</p><p>· Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of all customer and operational areas, including the wash tunnel, vacuum stations, and restrooms.</p><p>· Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.<br>Complete daily reports, reconcile transactions, and communicate operational updates to management.</p><p>· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.<br>Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records.</p><p>· Promote a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality and efficiency.</p><p>· Perform additional duties as assigned.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications:</strong></p><p>· High School Diploma or equivalent required</p><p>· Six to nine months of supervisory or leadership experience preferred, ideally in a car wash, retail, or service-related industry</p><p>· Strong written and verbal communication skills</p><p>· Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable</p><p>· Proficiency with basic math and ability to handle cash or POS transactions accurately</p><p>· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure<br>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation</p><p>· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed</p><p>· Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions</p><p>· Must be 21 years old</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Employee Incentives:</strong></p><p>· Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel</p><p>· Employees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel</p><p>· Employees that have been with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel</p><p>· <strong>MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong><br>The Express Car Wash Team Leader position requires frequent standing, bending, and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity.
