Do you stay calm under pressure? If so, join our team as a Summer Lifeguard at EF International Language Campuses in Tarrytown, NY!</p>\n<p>As a Lifeguard, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our international students at the campus pool. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure swimmer safety through active supervision, but you’ll also be a welcoming presence for students as they relax and socialize at the pool. Each day offers a chance to make meaningful connections while helping keep our campus a fun and secure place.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>• Supervise students during open swim hours and enforce pool safety rules at all times.<br>\n • Monitor water quality and report any maintenance issues or hazards.<br>\n • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.<br>\n • Communicate clearly and respectfully with students of various English proficiency levels.<br>\n • Help maintain cleanliness and order in the pool area.<br>\n • Support student engagement and contribute to a positive campus atmosphere.</p>\n<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>\n<p>• Alert &amp; Safety-Focused - You take your responsibilities seriously and stay attentive on the job.<br>\n • Personable &amp; Friendly - You enjoy connecting with students from different cultures.<br>\n • Professional &amp; Dependable - You show up on time, follow protocols, and stay calm in emergencies.<br>\n • Team-Oriented - You’re supportive of your coworkers and contribute to a collaborative atmosphere.<br>\n • Positive &amp; Approachable - You create a welcoming vibe around the pool area.</p>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>• Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or equivalent).<br>\n • CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.<br>\n • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse student populations.<br>\n • Must hold a valid U.S. passport or work permit (EF does not provide sponsorship).<br>\n • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.<br>\n • Must pass a criminal background check.</p>\n<p><strong>Why you’ll love working here</strong></p>\n<p>This is the most fun, high caliber place you’ll ever work.
