Our solutions have been implemented in a variety of industries and projects, from architectural structures to industrial walkways and access systems.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The Wire Drawer is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining wire drawing and straightening equipment to process metal coils into finished product that meets quality and production standards. This role ensures proper machine setup, monitors product quality, and maintains safe and efficient operations within a manufacturing environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):</strong></p><ul><li>Set up and operate wire drawing, straightening, and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;cut-off equipment according to work orders and specifications.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Adjust and change guide rolls, straightening rolls, and dies as &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;required.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform machine setups, die changes, and process adjustments within &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;established standards.</li><li>Move and position materials from storage to machines &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;using appropriate material handling equipment.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Load coils onto reels and ensure proper alignment and feeding of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;material.</li><li>Inspect material throughout the production process to &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ensure it meets specified dimensions and tolerances.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Use measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges to verify product &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;quality.</li><li>Maintain production output in line with established &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;standards while ensuring acceptable quality levels.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete daily production reports, including time and material usage.</li><li>Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;performance.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Report equipment malfunctions or operational issues to the Supervisor &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;promptly.</li><li>Follow all safety policies, procedures, and safe work &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;practices.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing or wire drawing &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;environment preferred</li><li>Ability to read and follow work instructions and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;specifications</li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;industrial equipment</li><li>Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;processes</li><li>Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;environment&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds</li><li>Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Manufacturing/plant environment</li><li>Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and varying &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;temperatures</li></ul><p>The above job description is a general overview of typical responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Wire Drawer.
