Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary </strong></p>\n<p>The Quality Engineer III will be responsible for providing quality assurance support for manufacturing. This position is responsible for the definition, implementation, and improvement of quality related practices and will provide technical guidance and measurement methodologies support.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Quality engineering support for manufacturing and project management</li>\n <li>Develop inspection requirements; facilitate PFMEAs; resolve discrepant material issues and create and maintain quality document such as control plans and inspection plans</li>\n <li>Analyze data and identify improvement opportunities </li>\n <li>Act as the quality interface for a production team in responding to customer complaints using failure analysis, development of corrective and preventative actions and trend analysis</li>\n <li>Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, create audit finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventative actions</li>\n <li>Coach and mentor Quality Engineer levels, I and II</li>\n <li>Subject matter expert in one or more areas of the ASQ (American Society for Quality) QE BOK (Body of Knowledge)</li>\n <li>Lead and participate in large company projects providing quality recommendations </li>\n <li>Support Quality Inspectors to ensure that inspection plans comply with the relevant requirements of customer’s product requirements </li>\n <li>Support validation activity of processes, equipment, and metrology</li>\n <li>Create protocols and analyze data</li>\n <li>Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that inspection plans comply with the relevant requirements of customer’s product requirements</li>\n <li>Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly</li>\n <li>Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements</li>\n <li>Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work</li>\n <li>Partner with other business segments:  sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance</li>\n <li>Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve</li>\n <li>Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly</li>\n <li>Participate in required company meetings </li>\n <li>Maintain an organized work area (5S)</li>\n <li>Participate in the Operational Excellence Program </li>\n <li>Complete all other work duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a manufacturing environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or in another Engineering Science</li>\n <li>6 years of experience in engineering in a machining or manufacturing setting</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T </li>\n <li>Ability to operate and train to a variety of inspection equipment</li>\n <li>Statistical expertise with DOE and Capability Studies</li>\n <li>Design software- Minitab</li>\n <li>Process management</li>\n <li>Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP and quality systems</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)</li>\n <li>Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Organizational skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Criteria & Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in injection molding</li>\n <li>Experience in the med device industry </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What is it like to work at Cretex Medical? </strong> </p>\n<p>We recognize the contribution of every individual and promote growth, safety and security for all our employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
