    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Utilizes computer software to draft detailed dimensional drawings and design layouts, including plans for the construction of bridges, including but not limited to cross sections, details, and schedules, which are designed by others.</li><li>Maintains accurate design standards and procedures in assigned work.</li><li>Calculates dimensions, square footage and component specifications and material quantities using calculator or computer.</li><li>Works under engineering supervision in the performance of assigned tasks.</li><li>Cooperates and coordinates with other engineers, designers, and technicians on project activities.</li><li>Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.</li><li>Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>COMPETENCIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>Technical capacity</li><li>Communication proficiency</li><li>Problem solving/analysis</li><li>Thoroughness</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li>One year certificate from college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.</li><li>English language skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.&nbsp;</li><li>Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
