Quality, safety and continuous improvement sit at the heart of everything we do.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p>We’re looking for a Packing Operator for the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">afternoon shift</span> to support our production lines, ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This is a full time (40 hours), permanent role, working <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm</span>.</p>\n<p>This is a hands‑on role primarily based in packing, with the flexibility to support other production areas when required.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with packing line setup and operation</li>\n<li>Carry out packing, quality checks and line cleaning</li>\n<li>Complete basic production and packing records</li>\n<li>Lift and handle raw materials (up to 25kg)</li>\n<li>Monitor waste and report issues</li>\n<li>Follow GMP, food safety and H&amp;S requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You</span></p>\n<p>You’re reliable, hands‑on and detail‑focused, with the ability to follow procedures accurately in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p>You will bring:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>1+ year packing experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n<li>Mixing experience (ideal)</li>\n<li>Experience with automatic machinery (advantageous)</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail to follow SOPs</li>\n<li>Good literacy and numeracy skills</li>\n<li>Physical capability to lift to 25kg safely</li>\n<li>Current forklift license (preferred)<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Apply</span></p>\n<p>At Walter &amp; Wild, you’ll join a growing New Zealand manufacturer where safety, quality and teamwork are genuinely valued, and where you can build a stable, long-term career in production.</p>\n<p>What we offer:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be part of a growing business with well-known, trusted brands</li>\n<li>A supportive, down-to-earth team culture</li>\n<li>Training, development, and genuine growth opportunities</li>\n<li>Competitive pay and stable weekday hours</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you’re looking for a stable role where quality, safety and teamwork matter, we’d love to hear from you.
