We celebrate unique perspectives and experiences that everyone brings, fostering a culture where employees are valued and empowered.</p><p></p><p><b>ROLE SUMMARY: </b></p><p>As an important member of the Wicked Weed Brewing Team, the Brewer is responsible for following the established processes and for completing all day-to-day activities necessary to make high quality beer.</p><p></p><p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li><p>Responsible for following SOPs and maintaining high quality standards in all areas of beer production.</p></li><li><p>Production of high-quality wort.</p></li><li><p>Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and presentable work environment through CIP procedures.</p></li><li><p>Daily management of yeast health and fermentations.</p></li><li><p>Yeast harvesting, barrel stabilization and maintenance, racking in and out of barrels.</p></li><li><p>Standard cellar work, including PH monitoring, gravities, crash schedule, etc.</p></li><li><p>Dry hopping and adjunct processing.</p></li><li><p>Setup and tear down of hard and soft piping assemblies.</p></li><li><p>Carbonate beer and prepare it for packaging.</p></li><li><p>Organizing and collecting records.</p></li><li><p>Continual lifting, dragging, carrying, and manipulating of hoses, parts, pumps, buckets, requiring standing, walking, crouching, and lifting regularly through the duration of shift.</p></li><li><p>Performs routine maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for ensuring that safety procedures are adhered to throughout the brewery.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to assist other departments when necessary, including but not limited to brewhouse, cellar, packaging, maintenance, QA/QC lab and events.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p></li><li><p>A diploma or Certificate in Brewing or Fermentation Sciences from a recognized brewing school and/or 1-3 years minimum professional brewing experience.</p></li><li><p>Ability to safely operate a forklift.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of beer styles and sensory.</p></li><li><p>Ability to support day-to-day activities necessary in wort and beer production.</p></li><li><p>Can lift 55lbs&#43; repeatedly.</p></li><li><p>Can work on your feet for prolonged amounts of time.</p></li><li><p>Understand safe work practices and the use of PPE.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.</p></li><li><p>Ability to accurately keep records, follow standard brewery operating procedures, &amp; to maintain a clean and organized workspace.</p></li><li><p>Mechanical aptitude.</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated with good time-management skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs, and technology.</p></li><li><p>Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 55 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 160 lbs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:  </b><br />At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
