Description

Boston Volvo is looking for a shuttle driver to join our team. Ideal candidates have at least two years of experience driving passengers. Responsibilities: Shuttle customers to Kenmore Square / Central Station Collate and edit transport schedules based on the passengers' needs. Arrive at pick up location prior to departure times. Confirming that all passengers are present, and recording any no-shows. Ensure adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing. Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes. Record and report all major accidents and incidents to the supervisor. Check that passengers disembark at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner. Ensure that the shuttle bus is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws. Requirements: 2 years of previous experience driving groups of people. Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes. Excellent route planning abilities. Great improvisational skills. Working knowledge car maintenance and restoration techniques. First Aid training is preferred.
