We provide: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits that start day 1 </li>\n <li>Student Loan Repayment Assistance & Reimbursement Programs </li>\n <li>Family-focused benefits  </li>\n <li>Wellness incentives </li>\n <li>Ongoing mentorship, <em>development, </em>and leadership programs  </li>\n <li>And more </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>All levels of experience and education will be considered for this role.</p>\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluates and implements care of adult and geriatric patients undergoing mammography and invasive breast needle procedures.</li>\n <li>Provides care to patient populations with complex health issues and serves as a clinical resources to staff.</li>\n <li>Coordinates patient flow in absence of Mammography Technologist Clinician IV.</li>\n <li>Functions independently as a coordinator.</li>\n <li>Resolves issues that arise during operations and interprets related policies to ensure quality care.</li>\n <li>May serve on and participate in committees and cost containment activities.</li>\n <li>Actively participates in preparation of regulatory agency reviews.</li>\n <li>Identifies more complex or subtle patient problems, symptoms, and behavioral changes.</li>\n <li>Assists colleagues in recognizing, interpreting, and managing unstable patient care situations.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with other health disciplines concerning patient care.</li>\n <li>Regularly provides direct care for the more complex patients with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Addresses the more complex or subtle issues in the standards of care.</li>\n <li>Prioritizes radiologic interventions for patient care.</li>\n <li>Practices radiation protection techniques using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills and knowledge of applicable exposure factors to minimize radiation to patients and staff.</li>\n <li>Performs efficiently and knowledgeably in emergency situations.</li>\n <li>Anticipates potential patient crises through continual evaluation of patient care.</li>\n <li>Determines appropriate radiologic interventions of identified patient problems.</li>\n <li>Assists in developing standards of care.</li>\n <li>Communicates patient's and staff needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written communications.</li>\n <li>Participates in the development and revision of patient care and operational forms including clinical pathways.</li>\n <li>Appropriately documents all procedural elements required by department.</li>\n <li>Establishes and meets goals in one or more of the following areas: clinical practice, management, education, and research.</li>\n <li>Completes and maintains advanced certification.</li>\n <li>Serves as resource in resolving issues related to patient advocacy.</li>\n <li>Identifies patient advocacy opportunities.</li>\n <li>Acts as a resource for complex interdisciplinary needs.</li>\n <li>Develops or revises policies and procedures pertaining to specialized patient populations to improve the quality of patient care.</li>\n <li>Assists in identifying ways in which patient outcomes can be modified, through research and/or quality monitoring activities to improve the quality of patient care.</li>\n <li>Participates on committee/council or PI team.</li>\n <li>Interacts with and establishes professional relationships with other patient team members.</li>\n <li>Utilizes available resources to clarify standards of care, policies, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Assist in research and related activities in the department of radiology.</li>\n <li>Corresponds with investigators to provide additional information.</li>\n <li>Identifies and communicates researchable problems as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Analyzes and reports data to appropriate source.</li>\n <li>Performs other responsibilities as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT.</li>\n <li>Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in Mammography.</li>\n <li>They must also have two (2) years experience with invasive mammography procedures such as needle biopsy to include stereotactic breast biopsy.</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required.
