    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Overview:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Schedule: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Under the general supervision of a Campus Safety Supervisor, this position is a member of a team of officers responsible for providing personal safety for members of the university community through a courteous, helpful and professional manner. &nbsp;This position provides a highly visual deterrent to campus crime while protecting the property and assets of the university.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;High School Diploma or GED.</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;2 years&rsquo; security work experience and/or physical security and protection of assets training; emergency services experience including fire and rescue; military and/or law enforcement experience; experience using radio communications equipment.</p><p><strong>Work Related Knowledge:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;CPR and First Aid Certification (or recertification provided after hire)</p><p><strong>Licenses and Certifications:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Act 34 clearance</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Act 235 (preferred not required).</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Law enforcement certification (preferred not required).</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Complete University safe driver program with van certification within 30 days of hire</p><p>(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.)</p><p><strong>Shift rotation:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>7 nights working followed by two days off</li><li>8 nights working followed by four days off</li><li>Long weekend off (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) every 3<sup>rd</sup> weekend&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Pay and Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Starting at $15.50 / hour, with potential for higher rate based on experience and certifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Double time and &frac12; pay for designated university holidays.</li><li>Vacation, personal, and sick time provided with full-time status and accrual. &nbsp;</li></ul><p style='box-sizing: content-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: inherit; color: rgb(51, 51, 51) !important; font-family: \"Source Sans Pro\", -apple-system, system-ui, BlinkMacSystemFont, \"Segoe UI\", Roboto, \"Helvetica Neue\", Arial, sans-serif !important; border: medium !important; font-size: 15px !important;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style='font-family: garamond, \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 18px;'>Misericordia University is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
