This schedule for this position will be 12-hour nights, for 2-3 months. The family is hoping to find a local candidate who is available for the nights schedule. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times</li>\n <li>Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night</li>\n <li>Provide professional guidance as it pertains to baby care while respecting the family’s personal preferences</li>\n <li>Encourage healthy sleep habits and follow safe sleep guidelines </li>\n <li>Implementing an effective sleep and feeding routine that the parents can continue once the contract has finished</li>\n <li>Baby laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning of toys and other baby items</li>\n <li>Recommending products for baby and nursery</li>\n <li>Providing general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The right candidate will have a positive and warm demeanor, glowing references, and plenty of experience </li>\n <li>Flexible and easy going personality </li>\n <li>Team player willing to work with other staff in the home </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 3 years of verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist</li>\n <li>Up to date on Flu/RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to certify before employment begins</li>\n <li>Available to commit to the entire placement</li>\n <li>Excellent verifiable references</li>\n <li>Local to Charlotte, NC </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive hourly or day rate, DOE</li>\n</ul>",
