    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Intrepid Solutions is currently supporting the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) providing IT support services across multiple contract task orders. This is a NEW MULTI-YEAR contract. The program supports diverse needs providing employees many opportunities for career development, growth and advancement. To continue to excel this program, Intrepid is seeking a <strong>Sr.</strong> <strong>Network Administrator</strong> to provide support for all NASIC and mission partner networks.  A qualified Sr. Network Adminstrator candidate will be able to meet the requirements and perform the duties outlined below:</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all EIA/TIA Industry Standards, Air Force Standards, Wright-Patterson.</li>\n <li>AFB Base Facility Standards, Tempest Regulations, and NASIC policies, processes and procedures.</li>\n <li>Secure all network devices following DoD guidance, IC guidance, and DISA STIGs.</li>\n <li>Provide network design, maintenance, and support in coordination with requests from the Network Service Owner.</li>\n <li>Work with the Network Team Lead and the Network Service Owner to schedule all network changes.</li>\n <li>Install routers/switches/firewalls and other networking devices, label in accordance with NASIC guidance and remove unused and/or abandoned network equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain architectural network diagrams and document all installations/changes in accordance with NASIC guidance.</li>\n <li>Monitor critical NASIC IT infrastructure (e.g. networks, servers, storage, power, and cooling) and manage the monitoring systems software and hardware as requested by the government. </li>\n <li>Install networking equipment that is OEM Certified.</li>\n <li>Document facility work being performed using the NASIC Service and Incident.</li>\n <li>Request system (i.e. Microsoft System Center Service Manager).</li>\n <li>Document network changes according to applicable standards and processes.</li>\n <li>Provide input to Daily Logs, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Reports on all network tasks performed, man hours used and parts used.</li>\n <li>Maintain Communications Equipment Rooms to ensure all standards are followed.</li>\n <li>Perform hardware configurations/installations in accordance with applicable standards.</li>\n <li>Install, configure, and manage virtual networks in the data center.</li>\n <li>Manage software-defined networks in the data center.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot network issues.</li>\n <li>Identify cabling issues/breaks.</li>\n <li>Re-terminate fiber optics and cat5/cat6 cabling.</li>\n <li>Repair and maintain network equipment.</li>\n <li>Provide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month and important issues occurring during the month.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position requires onsite presence at Wright Patterson AFB.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>TRAVEL:</strong> Position does not require travel.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>CLEARANCE:</strong> Active Top Secret / SCI ***TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration***</p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification, required.</li>\n <li>Cisco Certified Network Associate certification or equivalent, desired.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five (5) to Seven (7) years of recent and relevant Network Administration experience. </li>\n <li>Hands-on experience providing network support to NIPRNet, Cornerstone-Secret, StoneGhost, Cornerstone-Top Secret, and NORMALLAW as well as various networks and data circuits.</li>\n <li>Ability to provide network security administration for all NASIC networks that have security appliances deployed including firewalls, VPNs, TACLANE’s, routers, ACL’s.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mobility to work in typical office setting and use standard office equipment; dexterity to install and terminate cables; ability to climb ladders; stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in over the telephone and radio systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At CIS Secure and its associated companies, Intrepid Solutions and Services and Darkblade Systems, we believe in promoting fair and transparent pay practices.
