You will help to deliver innovative solutions to today's complex business issues.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Preparation and review of audit, review and tax engagements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Comprehend financial statements and corresponding notes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Supervise and lead engagement teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Verify taxes owed and prepare corporate tax returns (and other tax compliance slips) ensuring compliance with government standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Apply knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE) is an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Familiarity with Canadian Auditing Standards and public company audits.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Summarize financial status through the collection of information and preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other relevant reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Review documents from third-party sources for audit process.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Provide support to clients and respond to questions and queries in a timely fashion.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Vouch and assess relevance of audit evidence for expenses, revenues, capital asset additions, accounts payable and other liabilities, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, inventory, equity accounts, and income taxes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">In conjunction with and under the supervision of managers and partners, responsible for completion of all aspects of an engagement.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Collaborate with client team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality, and deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Mentorship of junior team members, whether as part of a specific engagement team or as a resource within the office.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Build effective working relationships with clients and actively participate in business development through community involvement.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">What You Will Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Professional CPA designation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">2-4 years of relevant public accounting experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">2+ years public company experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Interest in working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
