Your expertise in resource monitoring and control, combined with your construction knowledge, will keep our projects running smoothly and efficiently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now and transform your career with us.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click here to find out how Adrian Price, Preconstruction Manager, grew his engineering career here.</p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources.</li>\n <li>Review all shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data.</li>\n <li>Provides technical input for project work plan and scheduling.</li>\n <li>Identify risk elements of production, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule.</li>\n <li>Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance. </li>\n <li>Update project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting. </li>\n <li>Prepare and manage a three-week work plan. Notifies engineering and project management of any significant schedule changes and develops solutions to mitigate delays and cost.</li>\n <li>Initiate and manage all Requests for Information (RFIs).</li>\n <li>Remit accurate project quantities using assigned project cost coding to ensure project financials are accurately reported.</li>\n <li>Manage invoicing with accounting team regarding materials, equipment and subcontractor needs.</li>\n <li>Review certificates and permits needed to perform work. </li>\n <li>Review required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliance work environment for all construction personnel. </li>\n <li>Coordinates subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in a related field. </li>\n <li>5+ years construction engineering experience. </li>\n <li>Experience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems and/or structures preferred. </li>\n <li>Specialized, technical knowledge of design build or other alternative build techniques. </li>\n <li>Able to delegate and assign work to engineering team to progress the project production forward. </li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices. </li>\n <li>Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and cost coding. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>USD $100,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>USD $120,000.00/Yr.",
