    "description_html": "<p><strong>Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp.</strong></p><p><strong>Minneapolis, MN&nbsp;</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position:</strong> &nbsp;CNC Programmer&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Department:</strong> Manufacturing Engineering&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Primary Objective of Position:</strong></u></p><p>The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving CNC machining programs and manufacturing processes to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. &nbsp;This position supports machining operations through CNC programming, tooling selection, machining process development, and technical support for production. &nbsp;&nbsp;The role focuses on large industrial motor and generator components and requires close collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and shop floor personnel. &nbsp;</p><p><br><u><strong>Major Areas of Accountability:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain CNC programs using GibbsCAM for machining operations including horizontal boring mills, vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, and vertical machining centers. &nbsp;</li><li>Select and optimize tooling, machining strategies, feeds, and speeds to achieve safe and efficient machining processes. &nbsp;</li><li>Provide technical support to production personnel for machining operations, setups, and process troubleshooting. &nbsp;</li><li>Develop and improve machining processes for large industrial components, including shafts, frames, bearing brackets, spiders, bases, covers, and related products. &nbsp;</li><li>Review and interpret engineering drawings, GD&amp;T requirements, and 3D models to support manufacturing operations. &nbsp;</li><li>Design and develop basic manufacturing fixtures, workholding solutions, and machining aids as required. &nbsp;</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and setup reduction. &nbsp;</li><li>Maintain CNC program documentation and manufacturing process records. &nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support production requirements and problem-solving activities.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Associate degree in CNC Programming, Machining Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and practical experience. &nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with CAM software, preferably GibbsCAM. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience programming CNC machines with Fanuc controls. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with machining operations including milling, boring, turning, and large-component machining. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, GD&amp;T requirements, and 3D CAD models. &nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, workholding, feeds, and speeds. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience supporting production and troubleshooting machining processes. &nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. &nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds unassisted. &nbsp;</li><li>Routinely ascends/descends ladders and stairs. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to routinely move throughout the plant and office environment to perform work. &nbsp;</li><li>Routinely remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time. &nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally uses repetitive motions including the wrists, hands or fingers to operate computers, machinery or tools.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><u><strong>Salary:</strong></u></p><p>$75,000 - $85,000</p>",
