    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Purpose</span></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Core Banking Systems Specialist will be responsible for the development, configuration, and functional support of the Core Banking System (CBS) in line with the Bank’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs).</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The role also involves ensuring seamless integration with other systems, supporting business analysis and requirements gathering, conducting application testing, developing reports, and training end users to optimize system utilization.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support the Banking Systems Operations Lead in delivering CBS-related projects and system enhancements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide functional support for the Core Banking System and its integrated interfaces.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Research and recommend innovative solutions and automation opportunities to improve system efficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage user access, including creation, modification, and deactivation in line with policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and best practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors to resolve incidents within SLA timelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Investigate user-reported issues, test solutions, and implement fixes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support application deployment, upgrades, and provide second-line support across production, DR, and test environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure availability of CBS applications and data at disaster recovery sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support and enforce Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for the Core Banking System.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Facilitate knowledge transfer within the ICT team to ensure continuity of critical processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Monitor system performance and respond promptly to security or usability concerns.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage incident tickets and service requests within agreed SLAs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain strong stakeholder and vendor relationships.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support users and provide guidance on CBS-related issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Implement and manage application customizations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Validate vendor-provided fixes before deployment to production.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in troubleshooting escalated incidents, including on-call/24/7 support when required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform any other duties as assigned by management.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Risk Management Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop and maintain risk management frameworks and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate system and operational risks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure adoption of risk management tools and practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Address audit findings and risk review exceptions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Promote a strong risk management culture within the organization.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge &amp; Competencies</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong proficiency in Core Banking Systems, especially Finacle (version 10.x).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience in implementation and administration of Core Banking Systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong expertise in application support and defect management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to manage multiple incidents in a deadline-driven environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficiency in:</span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Unix/Linux and shell scripting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Good understanding of:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">APIs, web services, and system integrations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Finacle interfaces with external systems</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Workflow configurations and Unix cron jobs</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Finacle modules (CRM, Core, FI) and Connect 24 integrations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system testing.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Academic &amp;
