About José Andrés Group
José Andrés Group (JAG) is a hospitality company led by Chef José Andrés, known for outstanding guest experiences, innovation, and a values-driven culture. Our teams bring world-class food and warm hospitality to life across acclaimed concepts worldwide.
Position Summary
Servers at JAG are ambassadors of our cuisine, beverage, and story. You’ll guide guests through the menu with warmth and expertise, deliver each course to standard, and create memorable experiences that drive loyalty. This role requires sharp attention to detail, strong product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented service.
Key Responsibilities

Provide genuine, anticipatory hospitality from greeting to farewell; adapt pace and style to the guest. Present menus, describe features, and make thoughtful, personalized recommendations. Maximize sales through suggestive selling, coursing guidance, pairings, and check-building with integrity. Service Execution

Participate in tastings, line-ups, and trainings; retain and apply new information quickly. Guest Recovery & Communication
Resolve guest concerns promptly with empathy and sound judgment; loop in leadership when needed. Use guest feedback tools and follow escalation protocols to ensure issues are fully addressed. Compliance & Safety
Follow all DOH/health codes, allergy protocols, and sanitation procedures (clean-as-you-go). Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies and age-verification procedures. Keep stations and sidework areas organized to safety and readiness standards. Sidework & Readiness
Complete opening/closing and shift sidework, restocking, polishing, and station setup/breakdown. Support expo/runner/reset duties during peak periods to keep service flowing. Technology & Cash Handling
Use POS accurately; handle cash and payments per policy; protect guest data and receipts. Follow comps/voids/discount procedures and maintain check integrity. Events & Private Dining (as applicable)
Support PDR/events with preset menus, coursing timelines, and coordinated service.
