          "text": "<p>The Electrical &amp; Instrumentation Technician will repair and maintain associated plant equipment for the mill in line with achieving our performance objectives.</p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair AC &amp; DC circuits and control equipment</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair single phase motors and three phase electrical systems</li><li>Troubleshoot various input elements of control loop, including pressure, temperature, density, mass and flow measurement devices</li><li>Troubleshoot various final control elements of control loop, including discrete and continuous devices</li><li>Tune operation of control loops</li><li>Perform PLC troubleshooting and correction</li><li>Use of Megger, Multi Meter, Rotation Meter, Power Quality Meter</li><li>Troubleshoot Guided Wave and Non-Contacting Radar</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair VFD</li><li>Troubleshoot and Maintain Soft Starts as well as Across the Line</li><li>Able to use proper PPE; Arc Flash protection and FR rated clothing</li><li>Familiarity of conveyor belts and their components</li><li>Able to work on voltages up to 24.9K DC</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ol><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.</li><li>Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) during the course of the workday.</li><li>Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.</li><li>Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.</li><li>Haile Gold Mine, Inc. promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing.</li></ol><p><strong><em>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
