The Energy Division at Cadmus provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations across the United States and around the world. The qualified candidate will manage projects, design and lead quantitative analyses, create written reports on findings, present to external audiences, and contribute to business development. For more information, visit cadmusgroup.com.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and guide research, primary and secondary data collection, statistical and micro-econometric data analysis, and reporting tasks to support consulting engagements with energy utility clients, including projects related to demand response, EV managed charging, distributed energy resources, battery storage and virtual power plants, industrial strategic energy efficiency, and dynamic pricing.</li>\n <li>Mentor project teams in analyzing collected data. Synthesize research findings to resolve research questions, identify trends, and derive insights relevant to client objectives.</li>\n <li>Translate research findings and analysis results into meaningful conclusions supported by demonstrable data and develop actionable recommendations.</li>\n <li>Conduct detailed reviews of project staff’s deliverables to ensure high-quality, accurate, and error-free work.</li>\n <li>Proactively communicate with project team members and clients to accomplish project goals. Provide clear and consistent communications on projects and tasks and raise any concerns or issues before they become problems, provide and receive constructive feedback, and manage expectations.</li>\n <li>Communicate clearly and professionally (oral and written) with colleagues and clients, in varying time zones.</li>\n <li>Monitor project health including budgets, project planning, staff balancing, and resource management.</li>\n <li>Develop detailed memos, reports and PowerPoint presentations of results, findings, methodologies, and data sources, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.</li>\n <li>Work independently and collaboratively across Cadmus to deliver high-value solutions to clients.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields AND 15 to 18 years of relevant professional experience OR </li>\n <li>MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields with 12 to 15 years relevant professional experience OR </li>\n <li>PhD in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields with 10+ years relevant professional experience.</li>\n <li>Professional experience with statistical software programs such as R, Python, SAS, or Stata.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with or work experience in the electricity sector and/or utility industry.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, specifically sampling and research design, statistical analysis, and regression analysis.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Initiative and ability to prioritize and take ownership of assignments, including adapting to changes in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace.</li>\n <li>Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments.</li>\n <li>Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior consulting experience.</li>\n <li>Applied research design experience in academic or professional setting.</li>\n <li>Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The minimum starting salary for this position is $145,000.
