    "description": "<p>Position: Technical Manager (Mumbai, India)<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Position Purpose<br>Reporting to the Chief Business Officer the Technical Manager will manage and optimise patient support program(s). The jobholder is required to help represent Axios in daily meetings with stakeholders, patients, healthcare professionals and carry out administrative duties which will be both field and office based.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities<br>•Effectively manage patient support program(s) by liaising with Clients, as well as institutions including hospitals, insurances, NGO’s, physicians, nurses and patients<br>•Ensure that eligible patients are enrolled in a timely manner and in accordance with the project workflow and timelines<br>•Prepare timely monitoring reports (monthly) with patient numbers and logistics as well as quality assurance reports (quarterly) for internal review. This includes monitoring and tracking patient files in collaboration with Axios staff in “real time” as patients proceed through the program(s)<br>•Maintain and update electronic program files, including patient and quality assurance data<br>•Assist in developing and managing the relationship with the Government as well as key national and international stakeholders in country<br>•Represent Axios at meetings and conferences<br>•Identify opportunities for new projects and opportunities through discussion with clients or stakeholders.<br>•Develop and manage program budgets<br>•Manage Axios day-to-day office activities, including line management of junior staff<br>•Attending and completing Pharmacovigilance, Pharma and Product Training provided by the Client with a clear understanding of how to collect and report safety data<br>•Reporting any adverse events/product complaints as per client’s requirements and/or Axios SOPPs<br>•Additional duties as assigned<br>•Conduct all program activities through exclusive use of Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS)<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Relationships<br>•Reporting to the Senior Management Team.<br>•Line Management responsibility for junior staff and program resources<br>•Develop good relations with the Government, clients and key stakeholders. Work with partners such as governmental agencies, pharmaceutical companies, NGOs, political affiliations, and communities<br>•Work with fellow Managers as well as the various divisions of Axios<br>•Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with Axios regional and global staff<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Core Competencies<br>•Initiative<br>•Technical skills<br>•Presentation skills<br>•Project management<br>•Knowledge and information sharing<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Educational Background and Experience<br>•Degree in Science/Health related discipline</p>\n<p>•Strong IT skills with experience in database design and management (Excel)<br>•At least 4-5 years professional experience working as Technical / Program Manager within the healthcare sector</p>\n<p>•Good command of both spoken and written English<br><br></p>\n<p>Job Circumstances<br>•The position is based in our regional office, and it does entail frequent travel to Clients and partners which may be outside your designated region<br>•Flexibility in ability to travel as well as working hours is essential</p>",
