The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or is an essential function of the position.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Functions and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understands and promotes Elizabeth Seton Children’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure application with organizational policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Provide treatment for 10 – 12 patients per day.</li>\n <li>Supervise student interns as directed by Manager.</li>\n <li>Conduct initial Occupational Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations.</li>\n <li>Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist.</li>\n <li>Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives.</li>\n <li>Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation.</li>\n <li>Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to: </li>\n</ul>\n<p>-daily notation of therapy.</p>\n<p>-all progress reports with updates.</p>\n<p>-rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences.</p>\n<p>-other activities that may be assigned from time to time, i.e. splinting.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comply with established ESCR policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc.</li>\n <li>Participate in all department in-services and staff development activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>EDUCATIONAL & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bachelors Degree and/or Master’s/or Certificate in Occupational Therapy.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>NYS License as a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) or in process with permit.   </li>\n <li>Must maintain license in good standing.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in clinical pediatric environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Employee Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must meet or exceed all general health standards and requirements for the position as established by employer in compliance with NYSDOH and other regulatory agencies if appropriate.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift, carry, transfer and position patients in therapeutic equipment on static and movable surfaces.</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand and move freely while treating and supervising patients.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate the ability to operate and utilize small electric power tools used in the fabrication of therapeutic equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients as necessary.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and written skills compatible with the need to maintain ongoing interaction with CRC, Inc. staff patients and their families and comply with regulatory documentation of services.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Rehabilitation gymnasium including working at tables, on floor mats, vestibular stimulation equipment and on static and movable surfaces.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong></p>\n<p>$85,000.00/Yr.
