          "text": "<p><strong>Location:</strong> Onsite at&#xa0;7900 Fannin St. Ste. 1500, Houston, TX &#xa0;77054</p><p>The Obstetrical and Gynecological (OB/GYN) Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the female reproductive system and fetal development. This role supports physicians in diagnosing and monitoring conditions related to pregnancy, gynecological health, and reproductive medicine. The technologist ensures patient safety, comfort, and dignity while adhering to established protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.<span>​​​​</span></p><ul><li>Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations</li><li>This role supports physicians in diagnosing and monitoring conditions related to pregnancy, gynecological health, and reproductive medicine</li><li>The technologist ensures patient safety, comfort, and dignity while adhering to established protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Perform obstetric ultrasounds (first trimester, detailed level II anatomy, nuchal trasnluceny, second/third trimester growth/follow-up, biophysical profile, fetal Doppler, and amniotic fluid assessment)</li><li>Perform gynecologic ultrasounds (transabdominal and transvaginal) to evaluate pelvic structures, ovaries, uterus, and endometrium</li><li>Capture high-quality diagnostic images and cine loops per physician order and protocol</li><li>Identify, measure, and document fetal structures, growth parameters, and anatomical findings</li><li>Assist in the evaluation of multiple gestations, high-risk pregnancies, and abnormal findings</li><li>Provide preliminary impressions to physicians while avoiding independent diagnosis</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system</li></ul><p>Patient Care</p><ul><li>Explain procedures to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort</li><li>Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor with patients who may be anxious or in distress</li><li>Protect patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA guidelines</li><li>Assist patients in positioning and provide physical support when necessary</li></ul><p>Technical &amp; Safety</p><ul><li>Operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring calibration, functionality, and cleanliness</li><li>Select appropriate transducers, settings, and scanning techniques based on examination needs</li><li>Follow infection control protocols, including proper cleaning and disinfecting of probes</li><li>Recognize equipment malfunctions and report promptly for maintenance</li><li>Work closely with obstetricians, gynecologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other healthcare providers</li><li>Communicate critical or urgent findings immediately to the physician</li><li>Assist in training new technologists, or ultrasound students as needed</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required; Breast and/or Abdomen is a plus</li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li><li>Proficiency in MFM OB,GYN and Routine exams, Breast exams is a plus</li><li>Strong knowledge of fetal, female pelvic and abdominal anatomy, breast is a plus</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting</li><li>Strong attention to detail and image quality</li><li>Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination; requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time; occasionally lifts and carries times weighing up to 50 pounds; requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range; requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours</li><li>Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in OB/GYN ultrasound preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.</li><li>Experience with high-risk obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine imaging preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination; requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time; occasionally lifts and carries times weighing up to 50 pounds; requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range; requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.</p>",
