Join an award-winning team of dedicated professionals committed to compassion, quality, and service!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Coordinator  is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and approving  internal billing claims; setup, verification and updating insurance account information; verifying eligibility; preparing  related billing claims data reports; coordinates  Medical billing claims submission via electronic data interface (EDI); functions as liaison with LA County- Dept. of Mental Health (LAC-DMH) and Medi-Cal; tracks and monitors billing claims and approval; provides monthly report analysis to Department Director assists in preparation for year-end final reports. Responsible for coordinating activities related to Electronic Health care (HER) application including user training, maintenance, application enhancement, develops new reports, and problem solving; functions as liaison with software vendor and lead trainer.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education and Work Experience</p>\n<li><strong>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related filed.</strong></li>\n<li>Experience with Electronic Health Record (HER) systems.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Medi-Cal and/or third-party billing and reimbursement.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of billing requirements and collection regulations for Federal, State, and local agencies and third-party submissions.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $21.85 to $27.28.
